Since most products are made to order, notification of completion will be sent to customers via email along with notification when order ships.
In the event of lay-away, missed payments without a confirmed extension will free the product to be returned to inventory for sale within five (5) business days from the time of notification by email or phone that the payment has been missed and product will be returned to inventory.
Shipping
Shipping will be either USPS or UPS depending on size of shipment and distance unless special shipping arrangements are established at the time your order is placed.
Refunds and Exchanges
Orders lost or damaged during shipping are not the responsibility of b.collins Studio. Shipping insurance may be purchased from the shipper and in the event of lost or damaged orders claims should be placed with the carrier for reimbursement.
When packages are returned unclaimed attempts will be made to contact the buyer. The cost to reship the order is the responsibility of the buyer including the cost of insurance and delivery confirmation. After 60 days unclaimed items will be returned to inventory. There are no refunds.
ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
Once an order has shipped, there is no refund. Upon receipt of your order, please inspect it for obvious damage or defects that cannot be attributed to shipping and contact the artist immediately. Concerns that are not artistic in nature will be addressed on a case-by-case basis and reasonable steps will be taken to assure that your shopping experience is a positive one.
Collectible Dolls
b.collins Studio dolls are delicate works of art, not toys, and therefore are not recommended for young children. Special care should be taken to keep your doll out of the reach of young children because many of the elements that make up the art dolls can easily present a choking hazard.
Construction
b.collins Studio dolls are made from various media including paper clay, polymer clay, wood and polyurethane resin, embellishments, and found objects.
Although some are more fragile than others, special care should always be taken when handling your doll. They are protected with shellac, but they are capable of being scuffed and should always be placed away from extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
Assemblage/collage dolls are designed to be framed and will only be sold in a case, frame or shadow box so they can be property displayed and enjoyed as art.
No two dolls are the same. They are each a work of art. Imperfections, variations in color, facial expressions, measurements, fabrics, etc., should be expected. Fraying of fabrics, and fabric imperfections are also normal. Your doll will be unique, unlike machine-made mass-produced dolls and products.
Commissions
Commissions are always welcome. The image and design of commissioned work remain the property of b.collins Studio.
